First we discuss the needs and the wants of the homeowner and answer any questions they might have. We then will measure the home carefully marking and windows doors or other out door obstacles or considerations.
We will then create a custom landscape design with all things considered, and invite you our home and office to go over the design. We have the majority of our plant materials available onsite so you can get an idea of how the materials look in plantings. We will go over the materials make personal changes to the plan, once agreement is made. Weather and permitting we will schedule a time to come out to install the drain tile (which keeps water out of your landscaping and your basement). Once the drain tile is installed we then complete the landscaping installation.
Pruning is not only a skill, but science too. The science involves understand the plant material and how it grows. Then pruning the plants accordingly to maximize their blooms and keep some of their growth in check. The skill involves removing the right pieces of the plants to encourage growth and budding, but to also give the plants a nice clean look. When pruning yourself it is easy to make mistakes and can take a long time to correct them, or worse yet damaging the plants in a way that they do not grow. Improper pruning can lead not only to ugly plants but also to liability in the landscape.
